Tyrone "Ty" Levett (born February 5, 1980) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Saint John Mill Rats of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL).[1] He has experience competing on several different pro teams outside the United States, including clubs from Sweden and Austria. Levett played college basketball at Alabama State before taking part in workouts for the Miami Heat and Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). In Canada, he became one of the league's all-time top scorers.[2] Although he primarily plays the small forward position, Levett is also capable of assuming the role of a point guard, shooting guard, and power forward.[3]
