Tyson Sullivan is an American film and television actor.

Career

He is perhaps best known for playing the character "Hondo" on the television series Banshee,[1] which aired on HBO-owned Cinemax. Hondo quickly became one of the shows most hated villains, known for his white supremacist beliefs and full body tattoos, after he started harassing the interracial couple of Emmett Yawners and his pregnant wife. This confrontation was taken to its pinnacle when Hondo savagely murdered Emmett and his wife in the finale of Season 2.

Sullivan is also known for playing Scott Milam, a corrupt prison guard at a woman's prison on Fx's hit series Justified. He has also appeared in the TV shows Without a Trace, Bonnie & Clyde,[2] and his first Television appearance came in a minor role on the show "Days of Our Lives".

The back featured in the title sequence of "Sons of Anarchy" is Tyson's back.[3]

He will play the character "Mickey" in the upcoming film Bus 657, which also stars Robert De Niro, and will play the role of "Luke Elton" in the upcoming horror/thriller film Demonic.[4]

Personal

Tyson Sullivan was born in Plano, Texas, to Tommie and David Sullivan. He graduated from Plano West High School in 2004 and moved out to Los Angeles where he attended Biola University. He currently resides with his wife in Los Angeles, CA.[5]
