Tyvak Nano-Satellite Systems

Tyvak designs, builds and provides Nano-Satellite and CubeSat space vehicle products and services that target advanced state-of-the-art capabilities for government and commercial customers to support operationally and scientifically relevant missions. Tyvak is based in Irvine, California.

In 2011 Jordi Puig-Suari and Scott MacGillivray, former manager of nanosatellite programs for Boeing Phantom Works, established Tyvak Nano-Satellite Systems in San Luis Obispo, California, to sell miniature avionics packages for small satellites, with the goal to increase the volume available for payloads.[1]
