UK Israel Business works with over 2,000 companies and more than 10,000 key decision-makers to provide the access and information necessary to take advantage of emerging business & investment opportunities in the UK and Israel. UK Israel Business is a merger of the former British-Israel Chamber of Commerce (B-ICC) and Israel Britain Business Council (IBBC).[1][2]

Overview

It was founded in 2011 as a result of a merger between the British-Israel Chamber of Commerce and the Israel Britain Business Council.[1] Its Chairman is Marc Worth.[1] and Chief Executive is Hugo Bieber.[3] It has a network of over 2000 companies and 10,000 business leaders.[3] It works closely with UK Trade and Investment, the British Embassy in Tel Aviv and the Israeli Embassy in London to leverage its network of contacts to provide tangible business opportunities in Israel and the UK.

UK Israel Business organises a wide variety of events including conferences, business breakfasts, private roundtable events and business delegations.[4] Previous speakers at its events have included Lord Fink, the Rt Hon David Willetts MP, Tidjane Thiam, Governor Mervyn King, Sir Victor Blank, Vincent Tchenguiz, Sir Trevor Chinn, Sammy Ofer, Shai Agassi.[1][2] It has awarded Bunzl and Arad Water Technology as 2011 British-Israeli companies of the year.[1]
