UK Watch
UK Watch is a left-wing web based media project, based on the model of Z Net. It is produced by the voluntary UKWatch Collective on a non-profit basis. It is linked to from Znet as their ‘UK Watch Site’.
It was updated daily with selected comment, analysis and opinion pieces focussing upon UK politics, economics, society and culture, principally of interest to activists and scholars, according to the editors of the Media Lens website.[1] Content on UK Watch is mainly gathered and reproduced from other publications however it claims to be aiming to increase the volume of original content and invites the submission of articles.
Prominent members of the board advising the project include Michael Albert, who helped set up Znet, the academic Eric Herring and the journalist John Pilger.
