uKnowva is an Enterprise Collaboration Software that offers a platform for employees in the organization to communicate with each other, share knowledge, store files and documents, offer opinions and feedbacks, create profile, upload photos, videos, and more. ^[2]

The network lets you create a profile, join groups, share photos, videos and events. It can also act as a knowledge repository and store documents on it. It also lets you create polls, find colleagues, collaborate on projects and access HR functions such as leave application and appraisals.,^[3] uKnowva offers a private and secure platform for employees to engage in seamless networking and communication, sharing of knowledge and leveraging the capabilities of business productive tools to achieve accelerated growth and increased productivity.,^[4] The different features include;

• Social Intranet- Express what you do, what you like & what you feel. Convey thoughts and memories with people by tagging them and share your pictures and videos. Now connect with your colleagues through the most popular way of communication. Since your network is limited to the people in your organization, your micro blogging activities stays confidential and safe within the digital walls of your uKnowva social intranet. ^[5]
• Discussion Forums- Create topics for discussion, involve more and more people and get conversations rolling with their ideas added to your discussion. In case you wish to restrict the participation, the access control is in your hands too. Spread the knowledge you possess, ask your queries and get solutions or simply brainstorm. • Documents- Manage your files as per your need. Add more files, remove the unwanted ones and update the existing ones. Every feature has been made absolutely user-friendly so that you enjoy even a process as tedious as data management.^[7]

History

uKnowva was developed by Convergence IT Services Pvt Ltd, an IT services company founded by Vicky Jain, Priyanka Bhor and Abhay Talekar in 2008.^[15]
