USS LSM-25

U.S. Marines at Pearl Harbor under command of USMCR Captain D. B. Walker and assigned to General Detail, Flag Allowance, Admiral Commanding Amphibious Pacific Fleet embarked on USS LSM-25 on Friday 21 September 1945 and sailed directly from Pearl Harbor to San Pedro, California, arriving 30 September 1945, where the Marines disembarked and proceeded to Camp Calvin B. Matthews, San Diego, California.[1]
