Udea aenigmatica is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Heinrich in 1931. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Colorado.[2]
The wingspan is about 26 mm. The forewings are pale straw-colour, with a conspicuous black dot at the end of the cell and a sparse scattering of black scales over rest of wing. The hindwings are cream white.
The larvae feed on Cirsium species.[3]
