Udo Fortune (born February 2, 1988 in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria) is a professional soccer player, who currently plays as a striker for Mosta FC of Malta. Udo began his career as a youth player for Jos United in Nigeria for several years until 2005. In 2006, he left Nigeria for Singapore to kick off his professional career out of his country.[1]
Club careers
Sporting Afrique FC (Singapore)
2005 – 2006
Udo Fortune was part of the starting eleven of Sporting Afrique FC, when the club made its debut to the S-League Singapore League in 2006. Udo netted 21 goals out of the first 34 matches for the club.
Balestier Khalsa FC (Singapore)
2006 – 2008
Not new to the S-League in Singapore, Udo, always willing to prove his worth to any club he plays for, netted 23 goals out of 25 games for Balestier Khalsa FC. He was Quoted as "Balestier's good Fortune" by a local journalist in an article although the club ended the league at mid table by the end of the season, where they were at the bottom half before his appearance.
Negeri Sembilan FA (Malaysia)
2008 – 2009
With a totally different style of play as compared to the S-League, Udo struggled to find form when he first started playing for the Malaysian, Seremban-based team, Negeri Sembilan Naza FC. After a couple of matches, Udo managed to find the back of the net and was consistent from then on, scoring a total of 14 goals in 20 matches played. With the hope of playing for the same club the following season, the Malaysian FA ruled for there to be no foreigners in the Malaysian Super League and Premier league the next season onwards.
Arema Malang (Indonesia)
2009 - 2010
Udo was signed to Arema Malang FC, a Malang-based team in Indonesia, after 2 days of trials with them. He went on to have a good season consistently making the first eleven line up. He was recognized mainly for working very well with his team mates by assisting most of the goals on top of the 17 which he scored in 23 matches played in total.

As one of the promising players of the V-league 2012. Udo started his Vietnam football career in a bright note after winning the top goal score in 2 previous competitions before the league started but the coach that brought him was sacked and a new coach replaced him,after the 1st league game where Udo scored his very 1st goal the coach started playing him out of position and this coursed lots of problems limiting Udo Fortune from his really potential as a goal scorer,but the coach was later sacked after the 1st round and now Udo is back to his really position and hopng to start scoring goals again.
