Ujiarpur (Vidhan Sabha constituency) (Hindi: उजियारपुर विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र) is an assembly constituency in Samastipur district in the Indian state of Bihar.

Overview

As per Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies Order, 2008, No. 134 Ujiarpur (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Ujiarpur community development block; Sultanpur Ghataho, Chakbahauddin, Mokhtiyarpur Salkhani, Panr, Harishankarpur, Kewanta, Nagargama, Pagra, Nawada, Basariya gram panchayats and Dalsinghsarai notified area of Dalsinghsarai CD Block.[1]

Ujiarpur (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of No. 22 Ujiarpur (Lok Sabha constituency).[1]

Election results

2010

In the 2010 state assembly elections, Durga Prasad Singh of RJD won the newly constituted Ujiarpur seat defeating his nearest rival Ram Lakhan Mahto of JD(U).[2]
