Ukendt Kunstner (English: "Unknown Artist") is a Copenhagen-based Danish urban duo with R&B influences and is made up of rapper Hans Philip and record producer Jens Ole Wowk McCoy.[1] It is signed to the Sony Music Denmark label.
The duo started under the name Skørmand before changing it to Ukendt Kunstner and gained fame through the album Neonlys and the title track from the album. In 2013, they were nominated for "Danish Urban Release" during the Danish Music Awards[2] and in 2014 nominations for P3 Guld for "P3 Talent" and "P3 listenig hit".[3] In 2014, they released their follow-up album Forbandede ungdom. At Danish Music Awards 2014, they won the prize as "Årets Danske Gruppe", which translates to "Danish Group of the Year".[4]
