National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine

The National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Національний Симфонічний Оркестр України)[1] is one of the principal orchestras of Ukraine.

It was found 1918 as Ukrainian State Symphony Orchestra. From 1937 Nathan Rachlin conducted the orchestra until 1962. Subsequent directors include Stephan Turchak, Volodymyr Kozhukhar, Fyodor Glushchenko, Igor Blazhkov and currently the American conductor Theodore Kuchar.
