UniSoft Infotech Corporation is a former Unix vendor that now works on software for digital television development and broadcast.

History

UniSoft Infotech Corporation was founded in 1981, initially working as a Unix porting house, completing over 225 Unix ports to numerous CPU architectures. Its port of Version 7 Unix was the operating system for the first Sun Microsystems' workstations. It got into the digital TV industry in 1997 due to the lack of standards compliant software in the industry. It now focuses solely on development, testing, and broadcast tools for digital TV.[1]
