The unicolored tapaculo (Scytalopus unicolor) is a species of bird in the Rhinocryptidae family. It is found in Peru. The blackish tapaculo, S. latrans, is now considered a separate species. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland.
