Unleashed (events)

Unleashed is a fetish dance event created in 2011 by High Gloss Productions,[1] an Amsterdam-based production agency .

History

Unleashed was founded in Amsterdam in 2011. It is held in two venues: Panama[2] and The BOX.[3] Beginning in 2015, additional events are also being held in other cities, such as Berlin, Tel Aviv, Stockholm, Madrid and Ibiza.

Artists & Fashion

A selection of international artists have performed at Unleashed events: The Fuel Girls (starring Yusura Circus, Sasha Flexy and Naomi French), Marco Punk, Sister Sinister, Elegy Ellem, Brigitte More, Aurora Galore, Vanadio, Mistress Absolute, Rachael Vee, Lara Aimée, HayDee Sparks, Nina de Lianin, and many more. Furthermore, many fashion designers have visited the stage, such as Tatjana Warnecke, Cyberesque, Lovely Latex, Torture Garden Clothing, Lady Oops, Coco Late Latex, Fantastic Rubber, Savage Wear, and others.

Media

In Dutch media, Unleashed has been highlighted by, for instance, the men's magazine Panorama,[4] which published an article of a journalist visiting Unleashed, a first experience at a fetish event. Unleashed has also been featured on Dutch national TV, in an episode[5] of the popular television show Spuiten en Slikken,[6] in March 2014. In this episode, a guest speaker is invited to an Unleashed event to receive a wardrobe makeover, experience a fetish event first-hand, as well as interview several of the other guests.

Internationally, there are several digital features on Unleashed (e.g. a full feature on Unleashed's upcoming 5th anniversary in Amsterdam, by The Fetishistas[7]) as well as in print media (e.g. a party review in the American V Magazine[8] 2015 and an article about Unleashed Amsterdam, New Year Ball 2015 in the German Marquis Magazine[9]). When the event debuted in Tel Aviv, the local online outlet for large Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth[10] interviewed the organizers about their introduction into the fetish scene in London and their inspiration to organize fetish events themselves.
