Urimai Por (English: War for rights) is a 1998 Tamil crime film directed by Raja Rajendran. The film features Arun Pandian and Ranjitha in lead roles. The film, produced by Shiva Balajee, had a musical score by Deva and was released on 19 October 1998 as one among many Deepavali releases. [1][2]
Plot
Raja Mohamed (Arun Pandian), an honest police officer, is the happy head of a family, married to Ranji (Ranjitha). However, he spends much more time at the police station than at home. Chandru (Chandru) and Sumathi are in love, and they arrange to be married. A few day later, however, Sumathi disappears after trying to withdraw all of her money from the bank. Raja Mohamed investigates this odd affair.
