Urmia Plain

Urmia Plain is a region in the West Azerbaijan Province of Iran is situated on western side of Lake Urmia, eastern side of Turkish border. [1]

The inhabitants of the Urmia Plain are Azeri Turkish, as well as Kurdish, Assyrian and Armenian non-Muslims.[2][3][4]
