The Uruguay A national rugby union team are the second national rugby union team behind the Uruguay national side.
History
Uruguay A have played Glasgow Caledonians[1] and Edinburgh Reivers[2] in a Challenge tournament in Ontario, Canada in August 1999.
In November 2014 decided to baptize the URU selected as Charrúas XV, days before traveling to Brazil to face the local team friendly

In early 2015, the team played the UruCup.
In past 2015, the team played the Zona Ascenso B of the Campeonato Argentino, finishing in the 2nd place.
