Usman Mushtaq (born 5 November 1986) is a Pakistani cricketer. He played first-class and limited-overs matches for Sialkot during the 2002–03 season, and later played a single under-19 One Day International (ODI) for the Pakistani national side.

Born in Sialkot, Punjab, Usman made his first-class debut for Sialkot in January 2003, against the Lahore Whites during the 2002–03 season of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy.[1] Aged only 16 on debut, he opened the batting with Shaiman Anwar (a future United Arab Emirates international), and scored 67 runs from 115 balls. Their opening partnership was worth 177 runs, with Shaiman scoring 106, a maiden first-class century.[2] Usman's second and final first-class match came a week later, against Faisalabad in what was Sialkot's final Quaid-i-Azam match for the season. He again opened with Shaiman Anwar, but scored only nine runs in the first innings and 27 runs (from 105 balls) in the second.[3]

Later in the 2002–03 season, in February and March 2003, Usman twice played for Sialkot in the limited-overs National Bank of Pakistan Patron's Cup.[4] He scored six runs against both Rawalpindi and Faisalabad, with each match played at Sialkot city's Saga Cricket Ground. Against Faisalabad, he opened with Shahid Yousuf, with Shaiman Anwar batting down the order.[5] Usman played no further matches at senior level for Sialkot, but remained a regular player for Sialkot under-19 sides, retaining eligibility until the 2005–06 season.[6]

In April 2005, when the Sri Lankan under-19s toured, Usman played a single under-19 ODI for Pakistan, scoring nine runs from 18 balls from fourth in the batting order.[7] One of his under-19 teammates was a fellow Sialkoti, Arsalan Anwar, while his opponents included future Sri Lankan Test players Upul Tharanga, Chamara Kapugedera, Kosala Kulasekara, and Angelo Mathews.[8] Usman's final recorded matches in Pakistani domestic competitions came in December 2005, when he played for Pakistan Army in Grade II of the Patron's Trophy.[6]

In November 2015, he played for the United Arab Emirates against Hong Kong in the 2015–17 ICC Intercontinental Cup.[9] Later that month he made his One Day International (ODI) debut for the UAE against Hong Kong in the 2015–17 ICC World Cricket League Championship.[10] On 16 February 2016 he made his Twenty20 International debut for the UAE against Ireland.[11]
