VAV (/ˈbiː.tuː.biː/; Korean: 브이에이브이; acronym for Very Awesome V Rangers) is a South Korean boy group under the management of AQ Entertainment. The group debuted in October 31, 2015 with the mini album “Under the moonlight” after their first introduction to the public through VAV X Hailkwon collaboration webtoon.[1] [2] VAV held their debut showcase outdoor and attracted audiences from all around the world.[3]

Career

2015: Debut with "Under the moonlight"

The group debuted on October 31, Halloween day at the outdoor square of Sinchon, Seoul, Korea, with members ACE, XIAO, BaRon, Jacob, St.Van and GyeoUl.[4] VAV brought their debut song "Under the Moonlight" in this showcase. The “wolf dance” part of the song bring out the feel of the title and catches the audience's attention.[5]

VAV's first showcase is hosted by well-known MC Park Kyung-lim. The showcase will also be shown through cable channels ETN LIVE streaming, for fully one hour. People who are not able to come to Korea and attend the show could watch the VAV debut through ETN.

VAV debut song "Under the Moonlight" is composed, written by the Quasimodo so as the producing. Combing with EDM and hip-hop genre, it has become a very catchy pop music. As a brand new idol group, the title song music video has invest a lot of money just to give the audience a massive visual to enjoy. VAV debuted with different identities and have successfully gathered a lot fans in their first showcase.
