VMoney is a financial technology business headquartered in Manila, Philippines. Electronic money transfers
VMoney's main service is based on its online platform that allows users to perform global money transfers in real-time whether one-to-one or one-to-many. Users create a VMoney account, which they can use to store and send funds digitally to each other as well as perform wallet services including bills pay, prepaid reloading, card loading, bank transfers, and ATM withdrawals.[1] This feature can be used for remittance or payroll disbursement.[4]
Reloadable prepaid MasterCards
VMoney offers prepaid MasterCards that can be loaded digitally and used anywhere in the world where MasterCard is accepted.[2]
Contactless payments
VMoney offers contactless payment solutions powered by Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. The company has a line of NFC-enabled accessories – sticker, bracelet, keychain, and ring[5] – that grant owner direct access to their VMoney account and enable cashless payments by tapping the device onto a reader. VMoney offers two types of tap payment solutions. TAP+PAY facilitates transactions online and can be used for large amount with its PIN verification requirement, while TAP+PASS processes transactions offline by debiting stored credit on the NFC accessory.[2][6]
Online payments
VMoney enables merchants or retailers to accept payments online by making VMoney a payment option for their customers. Using VMoney as an online payment option allows merchants to receive customer payments instantly.[2]
Loyalty platform and POS solutions
The VMoney platform can be used to implement a loyalty and rewards program and can integrate with existing merchant systems. The company also offers point-of-sale (POS) services including shopping cart and inventory management.[3][2]
