Vagos Open Air is a metal festival held annually in Vagos, Portugal since 2009. It is organized by Ophiusa Eventos and Prime Artists firms. In the beginning, Vagos Open Air was a small event, called Rock in Ria, featuring a few Portuguese and international bands, but it has since 2009 evolved to become a full-fledged international festival.
In 2016, Prime Artists, the organisers of the festival, decided to hold a two-day festival at the Quinta da Marialva, near Lisbon, instead of the usual venue of the Quinta do Ega, the little park in Vagos where the festival was usually held.
