Vaishno College of Engineering is commonly referred to as VCOE and is located at village Thapkourin Nurpur, Kangra district. It is the closest outstation college for the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Pathankot.

History

VCOE was established in the year 2010 under the aegis of Mata Vaishno Devi Educational Society Management.

VCOE's campus has been developed over an area of more than 15 acres. The complex includes classrooms, seminar hall, common rooms for girls and boys, laboratories and playgrounds. The campus is located at Village, Thapkour, P.O Bhadroya, Tehsil Nurpur, Distt. Kangra, H.P (176403) which is at Kandwal-Bhadroya-Pathankot State-link road. It is 8km from Kandwal barrier (H.P) & 3 km from chakki bridge Pathankot.

B.Tech

Duration of the above courses is 4 years.

M.Tech

Duration of the above courses is 2 years.

Admission

The candidate must have scored either 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate or in physics, chemistry and mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent examination.

The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized university or board with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following optional subjects:

  1. Chemistry
  2. Computer Sciences
