Vaman Krushna Chorghade

Vaman Krushna Chorghade (Devanagari: वामन कृष्ण चोरघडे) (1914 - 1995) was a marathi writer from maharashtra, India.

He was born on July 16, 1914 in Narkhed, Nagpur District. He received a master's degree in Marathi and Economics, and a B.T. Degree in education.

As a follower of Mahatma Gandhi, Chorghade participated in India's struggle for freedom from the British Raj.

He served for many years as an economics professor in a college in Wardha before moving on to be the vice-principal of G. S. College of Commerce and Economics in Nagpur.

For some time, he chaired the Text Books Board of Maharashtra state government.

His writings strongly reflected Gandhian philosophy.

He presided over Marathi Sahitya Sammelan at Chandrapur in 1979.
