Vanadislunden is a big park area in Stockholm, Sweden, located in Vasastaden.
The area is named after Vanadis, which is another name for the Norse Goddess Freyja.
The Hotel Vanadis in the area has a myth known to many native Stockholmers. The story tells of a boy in a red hood and a girl sitting by the swimming pool Vanadisbadet. To Swedes the myth is known as "Pernilla och Rödluvan". It is said that if you give them the keys to the hotels entrance they will vanish forever.
