Vasile Andrei (born 28 July 1955) is a Romanian wrestler and Olympic Champion in Greco-Roman wrestling. He won a bronze medal at the 1980 Summer Olympics and a gold medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics in the heavyweight class (under 100 kg). In 1984 he also finished in sixth place in the super-heavyweight category. He competed in 1988 but failed to score.[1] He was the flag bearer for Romania at the 1980 and 1988 Games.
Between 1979 and 1987 he won six medals at the world and European championships.[2]
