Veena Ramgoolam (née Brizmohun) is the wife of Navin Ramgoolam, the leader of the Labour Party and ex-Prime Minister of Mauritius. She held the title of Spouse of the Prime Minister of Mauritius while her husband held the office of Prime Minister twice, first from 1995 to 2000 and again from 2005 to 2014.[1][2]
Early life
Veena studied Social science at the University of London. She married Navin Ramgoolam on 8 July 1979.[3]
