Vejendla is a village in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Chebrolu mandal of Tenali revenue division.[3][4]

Government and politics

Vejendla gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village.[5] The elected members of the gram panchayat is headed by a sarpanch.[6] V.V.D.V.Prasad Babu is the secretary of the panchayat.[7]

Transport

Guntur-Tenali road passes through Vejendla. APSRTC operates buses from Guntur on this route, which halts at Vejendla. Vejandla railway station is situated on Guntur–Tenali section and is administered under Guntur railway division of South Central Railway zone. It is classified as an E–category station in the Guntur railway division.[8] The nearest major railway station to the village is Guntur, at a distance of 13 km (8.1 mi).[9]
