Velnciems

Velnciems (Devil's village) is one of the oldest districts of LiepÄja, Latvia. Located near Lauma's district, at the east side of the city.

By legend it's named so by Peter The Great, then he visited LiepÄja in 1697.^[1] Velnciems is built up mostly by private one or two store houses. In Velnciems also is located LiepÄja Medical College.
