Venomous fish
For toxins used to stun fish in the fishing practices of certain cultures, see Fish toxins.
Venomous fish produce venom harmful to humans. The 1200 or so species of venomous fish include the stonefish, lionfish, scorpionfish, stargazer, weever and toadfish (Daector and Thalassophryne).[1]
