Verbeek (or Verbeck) is a surname of Dutch origin. The name is a contraction of the toponym Van der Beek. The original bearer probably originated from a town called Beek. There are several towns which are or were named Beek in Gelderland, Limburg and North Brabant and also one in the municipality Bree in Belgium near the Dutch border.[1] People with this surname include:
