VersionOne is a technology company. It is best known for the development of agile lifecycle management software.[2][3][4] VersionOne is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and has an office in Amsterdam. Robert Holler is the company's president and chief executive officer.

History

VersionOne was founded in 2002 by Robert Holler and Rajiv Delwadia. In 2007, the company raised $6.5 million in a Series A funding from OpenView Venture Partners.[5]

In 2014, VersionOne announced its expansion to Europe with an office in Amsterdam and a U.K.-based team in London.[6] VersionOne partnered with CA Technologies to integrate the Project and Portfolio Management and Agile Project Management products in October 2014.[7] In November 2014, VersionOne received $20 million in Series B funding from LLR Partners.[8][9][10] In October 2015, the company acquired ClearCode Labs, a Continuous Delivery and DevOps provider, to integrate with its agile lifecycle management software.[11] VersionOne announced that its Winter 2016 software update was available to the public in January 2016.[12]

Recognition

In 2006, VersionOne was recognized by IT Week as a Top 50 Innovator.[13] The company was recognized on the SD Times 100 List in the ALM and Development Tools Category for the sixth time in 2014.[14] In the Info-Tech Research Group's Vendor Landscape report for 2014, VersionOne was listed as a Champion in Application Lifecycle Management.[15] VersionOne was recognized in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Application Development Lifecycle Management report in 2015.[16]
