VestNytt

VestNytt ("West News") is a local newspaper published in Straume, Norway, and covers the municipalities of Fjell, Sund and Øygarden.

History and profile

VestNytt was established in 1988.[1] The paper is owned by Bergens Tidende.[2] It is a bilingual newspaper and published both in Nynorsk and Bokmål.[3]

It was published on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and had a circulation of 6,069 in 2010. In 2015, is published on Tuesdays and Fridays.
