Višķi (Latgalian:Vyški) is a village in Višķi Parish, Daugavpils Municipality in the Latgale region of Latvia.
History
Until the 1930's, the majority of the inhabitants were Jewish .[1] During WWII, from 1941 to 1942, hundreds of Jews are murdered in mass executions perpetrated by an Einsatzgruppen in the surroundings and in the Daugavpils Ghetto.[2]
