Victor Matthews (artist)

Victor Matthews (born 1963) is an American artist.

Matthews was born in Brooklyn and studied at High School of Art and Design and the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, before setting up his first studio in the East Village, Manhattan. He has been influenced by the street art movement, and according to Artweek magazine, creates "perfectly choreographed mosaic-like paintings of whitewashed and abstracted cityscapes."[1]
