Victor Muñoz Martianez (born July 25, 1990) is an Spanish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder who currently plays for Arizona United.

Career

Early career

Muñoz spent nine years with Real Madrid's academy, spending time with Real Madrid C. At eighteen years old, Muñoz rejected a three-year contract from the club in order to focus on his education.[1] He spent time with Celta de Vigo, before finalising his plans.

Muñoz moved to the United States and spent 2010 playing college soccer at Iona College, before transferring to UCLA in 2011.[2] In 2012, Muñoz played with USL PDL club OC Blues Strikers FC.[3]

Sporting Kansas City

On January 16, 2014 Muñoz was selected in the second round of the 2014 MLS SuperDraft by D.C. United.[4] However, he wasn't signed by the club. On April 1, 2014 Muñoz's rights were traded to Sporting Kansas City.[5]

Muñoz made his professional debut on June 18, 2014 in a US Open Cup fixture against Minnesota United.[6]

Arizona United

Muñoz signed with USL club Arizona United on March 3, 2015.[7]
