Viktor Karlovich Shmidt (Russian: Ви́ктор Ка́рлович Шми́дт, Russian pronunciation: [ˈvʲiktər ˈkarləvʲɪtɕ ˈʂmit]) was a Russian zoologist, leading Russian specialist in microscopic anatomy and embryology,[1] professor, the Head of Perm University,[2] the Head of Perm National Research Biology Institute at Perm State University.
