Victoria Park railway station is located on the South Morang and Hurstbridge lines in Victoria, Australia. It serves the north-eastern Melbourne suburb of Abbotsford, opening as Collingwood on 8 May 1888, and was renamed Victoria Park on 1 May 1909.[1]

Between 1888 and 1901, it was the terminus of the Collingwood to Heidelberg railway line. Until a direct connection with the Melbourne City Centre was made in 1901, between Princes Bridge and Collingwood, the only connection to the city centre was via the Inner Circle line.

A former goods yard is located next to Platform 1, whilst a stabling siding is located at the northern end of the station, which can hold 2 stabled trains. The present station buildings were provided in 1981,[2] and also included removing the original wooden pylons, which the former buildings sat upon.[3]

Victoria Park was once a busy station, as it was the closest station to Victoria Park, the home of the Collingwood Football Club, until 1999. Large numbers of people used Victoria Park station to travel to and from matches played at the stadium.
