The Vietnamese greenfinch (Chloris monguilloti) is a species of finch in the Fringillidae family. It is found only in Vietnam. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Phylogeny
Antonio Arnaiz-Villena et al. (2006) confirmed that canaries are the closest Fringillidae family relatives to goldfinches.[2]
