Vijay 60 is an upcoming Tamil psychological thriller action film written and directed by Bharathan who also made Azhagiya Tamil Magan and Athithi. this film presented by B. Venkatrama Reddy and produced by B. Bharathi Reddy both are under the banner Vijaya Productions. The film stars Vijay,Keerthy Suresh and Aparna Vinod in the lead while Sathish and Jagapathi Babu play supporting and antagonist roles, respectively. The music is scored by Santhosh Narayanan, edited by Praveen K. L.

Development

In September 2015, Vijaya Productions signed on to finance a project directed by Bharathan , which would feature Vijay and Keerthi Suresh in the lead role. Bharathan continued to script the film through late 2015, while it was announced that Vijay would join the team to start filming after the completion of his other venture, Theri (film)(2016).[2][3] The technical crew of the film includes Santhosh Narayanan as the music director, Praveen K. L. as the editor,M. Prabhaharan as the art director, Anal Arasu as the fight master and lyrics are taken care of Vairamuthu.[4]

An official launch event was held at evp ponnamalle in Chennai, with several members of the cast and crew in attendance. Alongside the lead actor, it was revealed that Sathish,Y. G. Mahendra,Sreeman,Aparna Vinod, Harish Uthaman would be a part of the film.[5]

Filming

The team shot a few scenes on April 11 on the first schedule. Now according to reliable sources, the second schedule of shooting is all set to begin in May 2, 2016. The team has planned to can a song in a grand set erected in Binny Mills, Chennai. Music director Santhosh Narayanan has delivered a peppy number for the intro song and the team is excited with the output. [6][7]

Santhosh Narayanan was signed as the music director for the film and he is composing music for the vijay starrer for the first time.
