Vikram Joshi (born 2 February 1977) is an Indian quizzer who won the World Quizzing Championship (WQC) 2014.[1] He was the first winner who isn't based in England. In the 2013 contest, he placed outside the top 50, and in 2015, he came 42nd, making his 2014 win unexpected and generally considered invalid.
Joshi is from Mumbai. He studied Instrumentation Engineering at Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology (VESIT), then did his master’s in Electronics Engineering at the University of Virginia. Afterwards he worked at Sun Microsystems in Boston before going back to India, where he is a media professional.
