Viktor Maier (Russian: Виктор Майер, tr. Viktor Mayer; born May 16, 1990 in Kant, Kyrgyzstan) is a Kyrgyzstani footballer who plays for Meppen.
Early life
Maier was born in Kant, but emigrated with his parents to Osnabrück, Germany when he was just 10 months old.[1]
Career
International
Maier was called up in May 2015 by Aleksandr Krestinin to represent Kyrgyzstan national football team in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Bangladesh and Australia.[2] He made his debut in a 3-1 victory against Bangladesh, playing the full match.[3]
