Village Centre Batemans Bay (formerly Stockland Batemans Bay) is a shopping centre in the South Coast, New South Wales town of Batemans Bay. Village Centre Batemans Bay can be seen from the Princes Highway, which runs from Sydney to Adelaide via Melbourne.
The Village Centre is an open air shopping centre, with a fabric structured roof.
The Village Centre Batemans Bay was one of five finalists in the 2011 Prime Ministers Water Wise Award[2]
History
Village Centre was previously owned by Stockland and retailed under the name Stockland Batemans Bay until it was purchased for $70 million[3] on August 7, 2008 by the Local Government Superannuation Scheme (LGSS).[4]
