Vince 'Vin' Irwin (4 February 1899 – 29 May 1959)[1] was an Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1920s.

One of Essendon's many North Melbourne recruits, Irwin started his career as a defender and was in a back pocket when Essendon won the 1923 premiership. The following season he was moved to the forward pockets and kicked 10 goals in a game against St Kilda at Windy Hill mid-season. He finished the year with 28 goals and played two further seasons, bagging 27 and 30 goals. Irwin was a four-time Victorian interstate representative.
