Vinit Rai (born 10 October 1997) is an Indian footballer currently playing as a midfielder for Dempo in the I-League U19 and for their senior team. The midfielder has Nepalese roots belonging to Kiranti ethnic group. [1]
Career
Dempo
Vinit Rai was picked up by Dempo after graduating from the Tata FA[2] and will be involved for their U-19 setup as well as their senior squad during the 2014-15 I-League[3]
International
Vinit, aged 17, made his Indian U23 debut against Uzbekistan U23 on 27 March 2015 in a 2016 AFC U-23 qualifier in the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Bangladesh.[4]
