Vinod Kumar Duggal (born November 26, 1944)[1] is an Indian civil servant. He served as Home Secretary.[2] He belongs to the 1968 batch of IAS.[3] On 23 December 2013 he was appointed as governor of Manipur by President Pranab Mukherjee. He is also given the additional responsibility as Governor of Mizoram as the governor Kamla Beniwal's was sacked on 8 August 2014.[4]

Early life

Vinod Duggal went to National Defense Academy and later appeared for civil services.

Career

Vinod Duggal also worked as a Secretary, Water Resources, in 2005.[5] In 2009, he was appointed as a member-secretary of the Srikrishna committee on Telangana.[6]

He is also a member of the Justice Punchhi Commission on Centre-State relations.[7]
