Vinod Kulkarni (Hindi: विनोद कुलकर्णी Vinōda Kulakarṇī, born 29 August 1967 in Mumbai) is an Indian actor, director, voicing artiste and voice co-ordinator, who specialises for dubbing International productions into the Hindi language. He can speak English, Hindi and Marathi. He owns a Proprietorship Company "Sanhil Creations".

He has voiced over 10,000 commercials.[1]

Film career

He is a veteran actor of Hindi & Marathi stage, films and serials, as well. He has performed many memorable characters. Dubbing career

Vinod Kulkarni has started his career in 1986. The 1st Major project he did was NFDC's Jungle Book in Hindi, for which Mr. Gulzar has written the lyrics of the title song, 'Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai Pata Chala Hai ... Chaddi Pahan ke Phool Khila Hai ... !" He rendered his voice for Kaa, the Python, Moti-Mogli's Wolf Father & in some episodes even Balu the Bear. When he dubbed for international productions such as Popeye and Genie from Disney's Aladdin, which started his fame. At the time, Because of the God gifted talent & his Hard Work brought him to Limelight. Also, there were fewer contenders and recognition came far easier. "We were all stars then, " he recalls. "But unlike me, others would feel awkward when asked to audition for voices or imitate cartoon characters & animals. So not many came forward." as he spoke.[4]

He is also known for specializing in rendering his versatile voice for advertisements (TV commercials, radio spots, audio visuals, corporate films, documentaries, virals, animatics, narramatics, scratches, pitches, etc.) He has dubbed in 45 languages till this date. He dubs for international productions of different languages into the Hindi language like Hollywood movies, Chinese/Japanese movies, South Indian movies, Marathi movies, TV serials, cartoons, telefilms, live shows, reality shows, sport shows, and many more. He is known as The King in Animation & Cartoon Dubbing. He has passed maximum auditions and rendering his voice for maximum characters of Walt Disney, Turner's Cartoon Network, Nicklodeon, History Channels.
