Viorica Dumitru (born August 4, 1946) is a Romanian sprint canoer who competed from the late 1960s to the mid-1970s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, she won two bronze medals (1968: K-1 500 m, 1972: K-2 500 m).

Dumitru also won four medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with a silver (K-2 500 m: 1974) and three bronzes (K-1 500 m: 1973, K-4 500 m: 1973, 1974).
