The viridian metaltail (Metallura williami) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family.
It is found in Colombia and Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland. There is no cause for concern with this hummingbird. It resides in the Trochilidae family.
