Viviane Asseyi (born 20 November 1993 in Mont-Saint-Aignan) is a French football player who currently plays for French club Montpellier of the Division 1 Féminine. Asseyi plays as an attacking midfielder and joined Montpellier midway through the 2009–10 season in January 2010.[1] She joined the club after starring for the women's section of football club FC Rouen. With Rouen, the youngster scored 23 goals in 28 total appearances. Asseyi had previously began her career with amateur club US Quevilly. Due to Quevilly not having a women's section, she played on a mixed team composed mostly of boys.[2]
